Compete.com offers all webmasters a chance to get a glimpse how much traffic
any website is getting. This tool can be valueable to you as you analyze
other potential sites to partner with or even aquire.
To use Compete.com, simply visit the site and enter the URL you want to
track into the box at the top of the page. Then, to your right, click on
the Get Site Analytics button.
This page will show you a profile of this sites traffic over the past year.
At the bottom, under people, it estimates the monthly unique visits to this
site. It then shows you the growth or decline over the past month as
well as the growth or decline over the same month one year ago.
You can actually enter up to 3 sites in the box at the top which will show you
a graph off all three sites stacked up against each other. There is also
search analytics which shows you the top keywords that are driving traffic
to this site via search engines.
